If you think this site sucks, try theNotTop40, the Scam-Free Musician's Network!

theNotTop40 was originally created in 2012 to make it easier for local musicians to find eachother, mainly to help with filling out several timeslots for lengthy gigs.

However, as its creator was pre-occupied with other things, TNT40 fell by the wayside until March 2019, when it was upgraded and raised from the dead.

There are several other websites out there that musicians use for networking but they all have their issues.
Firstly, the usual social networks do not have the needed search functionality.
For the sites supposedly promoting the networking of musicians, there is always a scam of a pay structure attached to an already not very useful site.
When Craiglist is still the best resource out there, the void has not yet been filled.

Here at TNT40, there are no promises except to make it easier coordinate or collaborate with other musicians without being swindled.

ALSO, we are VERY responsive to complaints or suggestions. This site can always improve more, so please leave any tips on the "sounding board".
