ABOUT

I am a 22 year old male. I play electric guitar primarily but have experience with a lot of other instruments. My bands from the past have always been trios. Bass player/vocals, Guitar player/main vocals/lead guitar. And A drummer/occasional vocals.

When i was around the age of 14-15 I started a thrash metal band with some of my best friends under the band name "Cursade". We played a decent number of shows relative to our experience at the time, we ended up going to a guys studio and recording a single of our most popular song among the people who knew us. This song was called "Summon the Demons". A little while after that we kind of broke up but not really, we disbanded "Cursade" to work on other styles of music because we were getting older and realizing we didn't only want to play metal music.

Around the time I was 17-18 years old we formed our new band called "Inspirus" At this time we were all older and better at understanding the process of building a good song. We went from doing mainly fast and heavy chords with our old band, to doing elaborate stuff with our instruments. My band mates came up with the idea that our genre with this band was now "Psychedelic punk". Originally we didn't put any genre on us because we wanted to do whatever we felt like doing and it was great. We played a lot of shows, eventually I started getting the crowd involved in meditation sequences where I'd bring someone on stage and have them close their eyes and the crowd would chant and my band mates would create a trance sound. It was all very fun and lasted a decent amount of time. I'd say it was my favorite time in my life thus far.

Eventually we all started drifting apart due to myself graduating and having to start working and what not. The bass player went on to be in a band that got pretty popular in our local area. I'm not too sure what the drummer did though. But I kind of fell out of doing music myself for the last few years after that. However the last few months I have taken a major interest into it again. I am practicing making anything from punk, blues, psychedelic, trap/hip hop/rap, and electronic music. At the moment I am very focused on making rap music with dominant electric guitar in it. I want to find a producer with more experience at making beats and mixing than myself so i can learn and also record tracks. I am working on making a genre I haven't really heard before, Hendrix style guitar playing over trap beats and sounds. I'm kind of figuring it out however it is an odd thing to accommodate to me. I feel like having another musician with the same interest could help me a lot. I've always thought of it like playing ping pong. One person makes something and it can cause a reaction to the other that creates something awesome. But just hitting the ball alone, you're kind of just bouncing back at yourself. For me it's a limiting feeling not having another person to work with but i'm still going for it.
