I’m not a perfect bass player, but I think I’m skilled enough to join a band. I still have minor difficulties with fretting half steps on a bass guitar (I practiced wrong and I mostly play full steps). I’m not looking to make a living out of it, I just want to play with a group. I’ve been depressed recently and being in a band is something that helps me know that there is something that cannot function without my presence and expertise.
