ABOUT

Hey there! I am Suzie, I'm 33 years old, and I live in Kilmarnock, Scotland. By the time you probably read this, I'll have moved over to Albany, New York to live with my American husband after going through the long process of getting a spousal visa. My main passion in life is singing, due to health problems, I haven't been able to partake in my passion as much as I'd love to have been able to. I want this to change when I'm living in the US. I adore singing, I have an HND in Musical Theatre (I'm unsure of what the American equivalent would be but I have a qualification in it anyway) and I want to be able to get back into singing and share my passion and talent with as many as I can.

Influences

I have a lot of influences in music, singing wise my influences include: Adele, Barbara Streisand, Idina Menzel, Judy Garland, Michael Crawford, Adam Lambert, Imelda May. Elle King to name but a few. My main styles of singing I adore apart from musical theatre are Rockabilly, Jazz, Classic Rock and in general many songs that aren't the usual generic off-the-conveyor-belt pop songs. I love songs with a story, with sparkle that makes my feet start tapping and plays on a constant loop in my head for days. I'd love to be singing in a band or with other musicians with these thoughts and influences in mind.

EQUIPMENT

No equipment as yet as I'm currently moving and packing my life away, once I am settled and am able to, I shall be investing in equipment to help out. But if you are able to cater to a travelling Scottish immigrant in this situation, then I'd love to be given the chance to show what I really can do.
