We are currently looking for some of the following out of a drummer.
Here are some musts:
-Professional equipment
-Reliable source of income (need to pay share of studio rent and help out with some various expenses)
-No alcohol/drug related problems
-Great all-around work ethic
-CREATIVE
-Transportation
-Ready to hit the road (at least on the weekends for now)
-People skills (rockstar attitudes need not apply please)
-A Drive to progress musically both on an individual level and as a band
-A background in music/rhythm theory is a plus but not a requirement.
-Past experience in a band and promoting/touring is also a plus but not required.
Influences of the type of drummer we are looking for include but are certainetly not limited to:
-Pantera
-Diecast
-Mnemic
-In Flames
-Fear Factory
-Soilwork
-Old Mans Child
Basically we want someone with consistent and creative double bass skills and also creative and consistent fills.
It probably goes without saying that you need to share the same love for the music WE play and be ready to work hard to take this band to new heights. This band is not about trends or fashion, it is about energy and passion.
Please message us at ./wearevain for audition times and further details. As a heads up you will need to play at least two songs off our full-length album and anything else you want to bring to the table can't hurt either.
