Our band [The Idle Commission] is an original rock band in the St. Louis area. We are looking for a lead vocalist who can play keys/synth and/or rhythm guitar that has great stage presence, is confident, and really knows how to work a crowd. If you are a vocalist only, that is fine as well.
We have a diverse catalog of originals – most of which we would want our new vocalist to come in and write lyrics for. WE have played venues such as Ciceros, The Library, Lemmons and the Way Out Club.Candidates must be responsible for their own transportation to and from practice every Thursday night in St. Charles and be able to play at least one show a month on any given night of the week. Big egos, addicts, and people who can’t afford gas money to make it to practice or shows need not apply!
