The Incredible Wal Man

Band to Join.

I started playing bass in the Boston rock scene and played everywhere that was anywhere in Boston. If hearing Bruce Thomas play didn't make me pick up the bass then Andy Rourke would have later. Have played everything from Punk, Ska & Reggae to Funk, 90s Rock and the Top 40.

These days I've "progressed" to an upright acoustic bass. Set it up myself and it's a player's instrument.

So I'm looking for acts that I can play it with.

My last gig was a Peter, Paul & Mary Tribute act. I learned 23 songs by PP&M, Dylan,The Weavers and Woody in a month to do the shows. I will be posting the recordings as soon as I get them. But this is the kind of work I put in to do a good show. In tune, on time, a good time had by all.

I sing. I know my keys and I stick to them. I have stage presence when I want to get attention but enjoy the roll of the bass in the mix. I'd rather hear how good the band sounds than how well the bass was played.

I'm looking for people interested in working.

Open to all ideas and inquires.

Setup is in the style of a living room concert like in the old folk music days. Very cool vibe.
