Hey y'all! I'm Dustin. I'm a musician, and have been for 26 years. I've literally had an instrument in my hand since I was 3. I'm currently starting a project called The Nikfits which draws inspiration from bands like The Queers, The Riptides, Blink 182, Greenday, Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, plus so many other bands in different genres. I've been in projects doing blues, country, rock, jazz, worship, hip hop, metal, oldies, and more so it all indirectly seeps in at times.

Here's the deal. I work with The Queers, and tour with them at times. They helped get the whole pop punk thing started and bands like greenday and blink were hugely inspired by them. This has hugely inspired me to do this project and start playing the type of music again. I'll be recording my first album next month which is being produced by Joe Queer in Atlanta.

As of now it's just me. I need a bassist and a drummer who are inspired, motivated, talented, and willing to do this thang. We'd start local, then there's a large chance I'll have the opportunity to do a tour with The Queers in the future, and just let things go from there. If you're interested I'd love to hear from you! Please send an example of your playing if you wouldn't mind. I'd love to get players so I can start playing live ASAP.
