We need a keyboard player!
This is a brand new band: Colorful, Psychedelic, Diverse, imaginative, and lyrical.
We have big goals and dreams for the music, both artistically and professionally.
We are looking for someone who understands music, on a technical and intuitive level.
Players should know their instruments thoroughly, have a good grasp on theory and rhythm, can follow a chord chart, have chops, and can adapt to different styles.
Lyrics are a very big part of the music and it is important to know how to frame and accentuate the music in a way that enhances the impact of the words and their meaning.
So far we have a solid three piece, guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.
The sound predominantly calls for organs, pianos, and other organic sounding instruments. Someone who is proficient in other instruments as well (ie, guitar, bass, percussion) would be a good candidate, as there may be times a second guitar would be more appropriate.
We are currently meeting about twice a week. Get back to me if you’d like to sit in on a jam.
