I'm 43 yrs young and native to Akron,OH. Music has always been a major factor in my life. It runs deep in my blood.I come from a long line of musicians and have been molded by the beating of the drums and the strings that have been strummed. Every day of my life is lived as if it were lyrics in a song. Music is my go-to happy place. I would give up my sight before my hearing because a life without music would be as dull as a rainbow without color. I've been playing the guitar for years. But I am mostly intrested in singing when it comes to being in a band. That is where I feel most comfortable. I love to write and I find writing songs very therapeutic...Besides it's just so much damn fun. I was the lead vocalist in a local band, Fisticuff, for 10+ years. We were an all-original band. I loved writing lyrics and melodies that would breathe life into our songs. Writing songs with other musicians is always a rewarding experience. I'm full of ideas when it comes to writing. I have a good ear and can usually hear the direction a song is headed during the writing process. I haven't been in a band now for a few years -well one that plays out and does any kind of touring. I miss it very much. I would like to get back into a project that wants to write original music and either needs a new singer or wants to start a new project altogether. With any luck, we will write and record some songs, get our asses up on stage and jam for the masses. If you've ever been there, then you know there's nothing quite like it. Y'all stay true to yourselves out there. Never give up on your dreams.
