ABOUT

I am wanting to put together a female fronted indie/jam/blues rock band. Think Dave Matthews Band with a female out front. I write, play and sing, but am looking to just write with other musicians and play guitar this time around. I have put up some demo songs to give an idea of the groove I am in, but I am by no means tied to the parts. As of now I have to play all the tracks and am looking to remedy that by getting others on board. I have a ton of stuff written, but would like to start with the guitar rhythm and let everyone else do their thing. I gots me some amps, drums, guitars, pianos, PA and full band recording capabilities. If ya got a place to jam great, if not we will figure that out too. Come on people let’s make something new. There will also be some covers of everyone’s choosing (ya kind of have to in order to get good gigs around here). I use the 2-2-2 payment plan, each band member will get 2 cookies, 2 beers and 2 smokes
(optional) each practice, and if ya play reals good you may just earn yourself another cookie or beer. All kidding aside, let do this.
P.S. Don't flake on people. Flaking on people is a negative stereotype that haunts musicians. I too am guilty of the flake-out, but I am trying to change.
