The Universe Next Door is a psychedelic cover band where focus is on the more obscure and sometimes practically unknown psychedelic rock bands of the late 60s and late 70s. We allow ourselves to use our creativity to re-manifest and honor great music from this genre.

Influences
Our influences are of course obscure psychedelic rock. But, there are so many influences. 70s prog rock to current post rock, punk, surf, doom, electronic, breakbeat.. I mean this is a conglamorate of artists whos influence is a massive range. Some of us have other projects that don't even touch psychedelic. We want musicians who can take off with the idea and be creative. Should be a lot of fun for a keyboardist and guitarist. Plenty of room for experimentation.
Members Of Band
Female vocalist in her 30s, Male drummer in his 30s. Male bassist in his 40s. All of us have had experience with music, bands, solo projects etc.
EQUIPMENT
I have some fx that I will allow bandmembers to use in the rehearsal space. Empress tap tremolo, bbe 3 band dist, sonic maximizer, trex spring reverb. Also a bossme50b which has an expression pedal with octave shift,filter and wah.. sounds great on keys. Also have an Ampeg v4 half stack, tube late 70s. Very powerful. Anyone looking to work with us should have their own gear.
