Progressive Metal band THE EIGHTH PASSENGER rehearsing weekly out of Madison Heights, Michigan in search of extended-range bassist.
We’re looking for someone with professional gear capable of tuning to Low F (8-string guitar tuned down half-step), and who has the ability to play in complex time signatures with a variety of techniques (slapping, tapping, etc.).
Preferable candidates should have experience in a band, have reliable transportation, no intolerable drug or alcohol abuse (420 friendly), and have a good attitude. We would love if you could contribute to writing. Knowledge of music theory is a plus, but not a requirement if you know your way around your instrument.
