ABOUT

Thank you very much for your time. We are seeking a new guitar player (singing BGVs is a plus)Here is our band in a nutshell. We are an Adult Contemporary, Pop Rock, Indie band. Our band is called " The Band Melange".

About the Band Melange and Mahogany Marie
We have recorded an album that we intend to release soon but we are rebranding slightly. The album was produced and mastered by Grammy winners Martin Kearns and Emily Lazar. I am a singer songwriter originally from Chicago who began writing at the age of 11. As a professional singer for the past 15 years, I have traveled the world and has appeared on stage with Tim McGraw, the Pointer Sisters, Gladys Knight and at many large events and at such diverse venues as the North Carolina State Fanfest, Doha, Qatar and the Grand Ole Opry

Our goal is to prove that there is no such thing as being "too old" or too ANYTHING to follow your dreams. My Band and I come from completely different races, political views, ages, countries, and literally everything else. Our common ground is music, which is our glue. I will fight until my last breath to prove that "Good Music" from "Great" people can find an audience that will appreciate us and flourish. Music can unite us ALL.

We want to focus mainly on originals ( We have an hour and a half worth so far). We understand that we may not get paid much if at all for this (the originals), but our goal is for the long term which is building our fanbase so we are are still doing gigs that have about 3 hrs of covers to balance making funds while getting the music out there). We own our own PA system. We also charge a market fair rate for our cover shows that are minimally 3 hrs.

Hopefully this can be a good fit. Our goal is to push our album and grow our fanbase. We have been together for 6 years and are ready and willing to do 3 hour plus shows, features of our original music, open up for other acts, and willing to travel outside of ATL to accomplish our goals.
