Greeting from Riyen Roots!!
I am a criticaly acclaimed blues/roots artist from Asheville, NC, currently putting a great band together here in Asheville.

I'm a seasoned performer with ten years on the road, and never met a crowd that I could not get drinking, and moving to my music.
I've played some of the best veues on the east coast.
I also founded NC's largest blues festival to date this past June. The Ashvegas Blues Festival, Google it.
Plus, I'm a networking cat with friends in all areas of the industry.

Bottom line my friend..
It's time to put my solo stuff on the side for now get this band going where I can grow musically.
I play music that is well loved, a great time every venue I play, and would like to make you guys money while spreading the music our fans.
I'm looking for a great lead player, drummer, bass player, blues harp, and someone on keys. I'm open to anything.
Let me know what you do and we'll take it from there.

Must be well schooled in old school Blues/Soul/Country/Roots music.
I have hundreds of originals, and know hundreds of covers.
We will play mostly originals, but throw in a handfull of covers now and then.
You'll never meet a cat so dedicated to his art.
I live, eat, breath, and sleep music 24/7/365!!

My influences are too many to list, but I play alot of old timey blues tunes, some outlaw country (Cash/Nelson/Haggard/Hank), a bit of funk and soul, and have lots of love for my favorite artists
Tom Waits, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Otis Redding, Old Crow Medicine Show and The Black Keys.
