The Lydian Slip

Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Other Percussion, Violin, Other, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Dobro, Steel guitar, Upright bass, Cello.

Female acoustic-ish duo, sometimes trio or quartet (piano/keys, acoustic guitar, sometimes a banjo, sometimes a mandolin or stand up bass and strong vocals/songwriting skills) seeking other talented musician(s) to collaborate and perform with. We are open to almost any instrumentation: other stringed instruments, wind instruments, percussion, bass, something from left field...

We've uploaded one cover track to this Bandmix page, just to give you an idea of what we sound like, but please check out some rough drafts of our original tunes on 50undC10ud.

If interested in getting together, please forward a couple of samples (files or a link) of your music. It doesn't have to be anything fancy - most smart phones will capture a good enough recording so that we can get an idea of what you do.... We are really sorry, but we will not respond if you do not provide something for us to listen to.

You can contact us via messaging on BandMix (if you have the premium membership - we don't) or through our S0undC10ud page or by sending a note to our g-mail account (thelydianslip).

We all have our own set of influences....some rock, blues, bluegrass, Americana and, of course, the cosmic music that gets transmitted directly into Jenny's head.

We are still figuring out how to blend what we do to create our own sound and we are open to collaborating with other creative people who want to write, record and play out.

You can also check out our personal S0undC10ud pages, which might give you an idea of our individual styles and musical interests. BandMix seems to be doing something funny with the url's when I type them into the profile, but just go to the site and search for the following members:

We each have our own gear, of course. And we have recording capabilities and a live sound set up (Carvin, 6 channel, nothing fancy but it gets the job done).
