A passionate group of musicians who are very aware that despite what one may gather from television or even the radio, music is still art and it should be delivered not with adrenaline or shock factor alone, but with heart. "Powerful riff-rock" is how the Charleston City paper described this band's sound in an issue early in 2005, but that is only one of the many ingrediants in the intoxicating brew that makes up Moonless Moth. They dig deep inside and pull from their guts all the veiny wiring and pulsing anatomy that has made up the artist since the beginning of man. I know that sounds extremely exaggerated (And maybe a little gross) but as a member that is how I feel and that is how we all feel about music. We pull it from the inside after it infects us by way of whatever outside force, be it God, aliens, energy, and translate it as best we can through song.
