The Newspaper Taxis are a recently formed powerpop/indie band that intends to do whatever it takes to make their sound known. Haven't got any gigs yet, but mike and dave have been playing shows for around 7 years in various bands. we are in the process of setting up a few summer tours, and keeping the vibes going until they take us somewhere. Probably practice on weekends over the summer, but nothing firm yet. Influences include The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Weezer, Limbeck, Rooney... the list goes on. Give us a shout if you're interested in playing some 2nd guitar (rhythm and lead) or bass for us.
