ABOUT

www.thepatriarchsband.com, @thepatriarchsband, booking@thepatriarchsband.com

The Patriarchs are working acoustic trio based out of Cherokee County Georgia whose musical styles range from folk and Americana to modern pop and rock. They are booked with summer and fall gigs at north GA wineries and festivals. Their carefully selected repertoire has been crafted to appeal to a wide variety of listeners, featuring music from the 1960’s through today.

The three members began performing together in 2015 with the all-original Bruce Gibson Band featuring Bruce on guitar and vocals, Sean on bass guitar, Greg on drums, and other guest musicians. The project lasted a couple of years until the members dispersed into individual music ventures. In early 2021, Sean and Bruce reunited to co-write some original songs and discovered they had an appealing vocal harmony sound. They began working on a playlist of covers and originals, and soon asked Greg if he would be interested in joining the group. The ensemble settled on the name The Patriarchs and began playing out in the fall of 2021.

Influences

The Patriarchs have compiled a playlist that is nostalgic and toe-tapping. Heavy on 1970’s tracks you forgot how much you love, and blended with original singles — this playlist is perfect for sipping wine, beer, or coffee with friends, enjoying open-air festivals, and for just feeling good.
