Fueled by abstract energy and Mountain Dew Kick Starts. Definitely feel like I am on another level of musical hype. Grew up a dancer (Jazz/hip-Hop/Breaks/Ballet) for Foster Powell Dance Studios and evolved into a drummer/DJ/vocalist.
After high school moved out to Keystone, Colorado to pursue my passion for snowboarding and while there picked up a set of Numark turntables and a flood of electronic sounds engulfed my ears. Hitting every possible rave in and around Denver and the occasional DJ set in Breckenridge's electronic hangout Liquid Lounge.
After returning to Des Moines to finish college I continued to DJ and be involved in the electronic music scene in Kansas City/Omaha/Minneapolis and Chicago. In 2003 I joined the rock group The Rude as lead vocals and was preparing to hit the studio and the road as hard as I could.
After The Rude had disbanded in late 2004 I was ready to give up music and my self confidence as a performer was dwindling. So, I took time away from performance and focused on my family business.
2010 I joined the progressive rock group Crawling South and released a EP in the summer of 2011. All was going great until the untimely death of our drummer Dan Hutchens in November of 2011. Music since then has been just a hobby.
In 2006 I married my wife and by 2009-2013 my family was growing. I have 2 children and a 9 year old pug named Vinnie. We currently reside in Urbandale, Ia.
