ABOUT

Began in 2006, The Shape is a melodic heavy metal band that mixes thrash, melodic death, and heavy gothic metal with progressive influences to form a unique sound all its own. We have a distinct creative vision and focus for the promotion of our upcoming album (currently in mastering). We are organizing a large club stage show that involves professional lighting, digital video projection, HD short films with thematic tie-in, smoke machines, lasers, and more.

We aim to tour around the country in support of this record, so we only seek serious musicians who are either looking to fill in on tour or be active band members who can contribute to the creative process from here on out. We are in the process of purchasing a large pro van to accomodate all band members and gear comfortably.
