i consider myself a lead guitarist (electric) first and foremost and i simply love playing in the blues, classic rock, southern rock and country genres. I've got a great ear but have not been trained formally, meaning i'm not a reader of music other than basic tabs. i consider that a strength and not a weakness. i can easily blend in with just about any rockin' blues or jam band context and like to think i make others sound better and look good be it onstage or otherwise.
I've played with some mighty fine musicians in my day and served as lead guitarist, secondary songwriter and vocalist a band from charlottesville, va for several years.
