Greetings fellow drummers,

We are in need of an experienced drummer for our genre fluid art punk band called "This Way to the Egress".

As of now, we are looking at gigs for this spring/summer, depending on how covid goes.

We are also doing live streams as well.

We wanted to look now while things are still simmering just to see if anyone in the Valley or close to, would be interested in joining our music collective.

A bit about us, our practice schedule, payment, etc...

We've been going strong for 12+ years. We've toured extensively all over the US including 8+ tours, and 1 in the UK.

When actively gigging or Covid is no longer killing our ability to work, we typically practice in Easton PA, on Monday evenings. Our tuba player commutes from Brooklyn, so we sometimes have a double practice for Sunday and Monday. If you have to commute, we will reimburse your gas and tolls. We also have a nice spare bedroom(Bethlehem) if you need to crash.

Our practice space has a backline with a full 5 piece kit. If you want to bring your own cymbals, kick pedal, snare or anything else, feel free.

For live shows and streams: all gigs are paid, Typically $100-150 per musician, plus any travel costs would be reimbursed. We can discuss the specifics on all that.

When we do play live shows, we have a tour vehicle and we travel with a backline including a 5 piece drum set that folds into itself. Would just need your cymbals, pedal, snare, etc...

We are utilizing this break around covid to revamp some old tunes, and dare we say, simplify our style. Most of us are multi instrumentalists, there will def be opportunities to do other things within the band. In the end, it's completely up to you, how involved you want to be. If you just want to be a hired gun great! If you want to get more involved with the creative aspect of the band, great! Whatever works for you.

All in all, we are a music collective, and we're always looking to work with driven drummers and other folks that have a passion for this lifestyle.

Please see and hear what we do via our website, or FB page.
