Formed in 2008, This Way to the EGRESS is a 6-piece accordion-led ensemble hailing from Bethlehem/NYC and TriState region.
We are an original band who has released 5 full length albums. We tour regionally and nationally as well as internationally.
We don't have a particular genre we identify with but we incorporate elements of punk, Balkan, Klezmer, blues, reggae, Ska, ragtime, hip hop with Americana Folk-Rock. Our current instrumentation is Accordion, Tuba, Piano/Violin, Electric Guitar, Trombone and drums.
We are a full time band looking for members to fill out our sound. After 8 years together two of our members are moving on and less available due work, leaving them unable to tour and gig on the regular. Hoping to find a decent, serious players that can mimic our style and be versatile and creative on their instrument.
Feel free to check out our website, find us on Facebook, or look us up on pandora, spotify, or just google "This Way to the EGRESS".
