SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar.
Do you like NOFX, Lagwagon, Bad Religion, Strung Out, Propagandhi, Face to Face, Ten Foot Pole, Rufio, Whippersnapper, Slick Shoes with a hint of metal thrown into the mix? Do you play bass like Scott Shiftlett, Jesse Buglione, Mike Dirnt? Sing like Greg Graffin, Jason Cruz, Tony Sly, or Trevor Keith? Or can you play bass and sing at the time and like all of the above? My band is looking for you!
We a guitarist and a drummer (all in our 30's) looking to round out a fast and melodic punk band. All have pro equipment, practice space, all sing backup vox, and have years of gigging/touring under our belts from. Have a bunch of material in the can and looking to solidify the line up. Looking to stay local (all have day jobs and all hopes of "making it" have gone out the window) and play local. This is for fun and to bring some 90's fast/melodic punk to the MA area. No ego's, no hard drugs. We are all easy going guys, like to have a few brews and create some sick tunes.
If interested, shoot me an email. We have demos to share (NOT POSTED ON BANDMIX) and we hope you got'em as well.
- Predominantly a drummer, but can also do rhythm guitar and bass.
- Vocal abilities in hardcore, melodic styles and harmonies.
- Very flexible, compromising, reliable and committed, yet creative, collaborative, fun and easy to work with.
- I'm a F/T Web Developer and can engineer recording sessions for demo purposes.
I've been in bands forever. I've recorded live and solo to a click, w/out click and sometimes recording drums to pre-recorded music. Although I don't do any fancy stick "tricks" I am quite animated when performing. I also have no problem providing backups or vocalizing over entire sections of songs (when it's called for) while drumming.
