I'm a vocally talented frontman/lead singer with some 30 plus years experience who, musically, loves most everything, but is partial to classic rock, modern rock, southern rock and rockin' blues... I also have some Rhythm Guitar skills and utilize those skills to a limited degree. I just left a band I had formed 3 years ago mainly because I no longer want to manage bands... I've managed 3 locally successful bands, 2 of which were during the past 8 years, but honestly it's too much work for very little return, as well as being highly taken for granted and unappreciated... so I would rather just perform and collaborate on picking material that we would be doing. I would love to hook-up with a band looking for a Front-man/Vocalist performing Blues/Funk/Rock/Classic Rock... Basically anything that will get people dancing... My idea of the perfect instrument configuration would be, a skillful keyboard player and a skillful guitarist, drummer and bass player, preferably all with good backing vocal capabilities... Of course a good Sax and Trumpet Player thrown in the mix would be terrific also. I can lend a hand playing some Rhythm Guitar, as well... where needed and where appropriate. Hit me up so the possibilities can be discussed... Oh, I should say, I'm in my Mid-50's and can very much still rock with the best of them. Interested in musician between 45 and 60. No Prima Donnas, Cowboys, loose cannons, headcases, substance issues, or any other maturity issues please. Looking for mature, talented and professional musicians who can work in a team related atmosphere with the ability to share ideas and compromise. Main goals are to make some dough and have a good time doing it, while recognizing it is also a business and not so much a recreation. The fun is an obvious bonus, lol!

Let me put it this way... Armstrong, Martin, Sinatra & Bennett all the way up to Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Nickelback & Nirvana...and especially 70's and 80's rock... I have to name 3 very big influences of mine in their singing style and that's Joe Cocker, Robert Plant & Michael McDonald. I love the articulations of John Lee Hooker also!
A-Z really covers it for me........

Various Mic's, but I use the good ole' SM-58 mostly for live performance, although I do use my Shure 55 Deluxe from time to time... great Mic, but a little hot and better suited to larger venues, various cables and other gear. Also I play an Ibanez Exotic Wood Series Acoustic, which is one of the best purchases I've ever made... Paid $500, but she plays and sound as good and in some cases better than many $2000.00 guitars. I just sold my Gibson Les Paul Classic 120th Anniversary Edition, but own a Reverend Reeves Gabrels Signature Electric and believe it or not, in many ways I like it better, for it's tones and play-ability. I run this through a 50W Randall Tube Combo with a smokin' 12" Celestion Speaker... This unit cranks! That's about it... hit me up!
