i am:
67-year-old bass player with 50 years of playing/performing experience looking to get back into the mix. Open to pick-up gigs, fill-ins, casuals, established bands, forming bands, anything that involves making music in front of people. My musical roots are in 60’s & 70’s AOR/deep cuts. Got my start in a disco cover band in the 70’s so I’m partial to music that makes you move. Styles: rock, jazz, classical (not classic), country, P&W, and spanish music. I play 5-string fretted and fretless. I can improvise with the best, but I prefer something structured. I can sight read off a chart as long as it’s not too complex, I can work off of cheat sheets or what-have-you. Have my own equipment and car. I live in east denver/mayfair, prefer a situation close to home.
