ABOUT
I have been playing bass since my teenage years and have played and performed live in many bands. I am currently the bass player for the Baltimore based original band Reality Jones. We are currently recording our 4th studio album. I have many years of experience in performing live as well as studio recording. I do not sight read, so I don't consider myself a "schooled" studio musician, however I do have a decent understanding of musical theory and love to professionally record music.

Influences
To many to list them all. My biggest influence came from 70's rock bands such as The Who, Deep Purple, Queen, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, Kansas, Yes, Steely Dan, Paul McCartney, Crack The Sky, Rush, AC/DC, and eventually of course Prince etc.
The bass player who influenced me the most would be John Entwistle. Others would be John Lodge of the Moody Blues, Chris Squire, Paul McCartney, and later Flea. I have a pretty wide appreciation for a lot of different styles of music. I like a lot of 80's and 90's bands as well. However, I am not a fan of RAP or straight up country music.

Painted Jar
Painted Jar Track number: 9 Year: 1997 Album: Fire Monkey Genre: Rock
Music and Lyrics written by me - Tim Fowler. The band Fire Monkey only released one album. I don't consider myself a natural born song writer, but I wrote 6 out of the 10 songs on this album. I have to admit that when I wrote this song, I had Green Day on my mind. I love the old school punk stuff. Big Ramones fan.
