45 year old guitarist, been playing since 14. Metallica got me playing….vai and Eric Johnson made me fall in love with the guitar. First two years of college I was the scholarship guitarist so I played in everything the college offered… Big band Jazz, 90s Country Vocal Ensemble, etc. Can read lead sheets, tab and standard. Very scheduled practice routine, start slow until you can play it faster that necessary and then back it off for performance. I believe rehearsals are for coming together and working out kinks… not for learning your parts.

Most importantly I’m responsible, come prepared and I get along with everybody! Also I do have a 33 x 11 practice space with drum set.
