Hello, Timothy James here. I’m looking for other artists to collaborate and perform with.

Here’s a little about some of my songs.
All tracks were arranged and performed by Timothy James.

If you want to be a cowboy:
It is a song of nobility, what a cowboy represents and what it takes to be a real cowboy.
Inspired by a close friend, my uncle. A songwriter/musician and mentor who was a "true cowboy" at heart. He died of cancer at 45 years of age before this song was written.
In writing this song the words quickly flowed onto the paper. After reading what was put down, I could not help but be amazed and feel he helped me write it in spirit.

I‘m A Yankee Hillbilly:
This is a song about my mother’s side of the family from eastern Kentucky. The only work was in the coal mines. So around 1955 one by one, the older boys of the 12 kids migrated up to Michigan for the auto industry jobs. Eventually the whole family moved up there.
I was born in Michigan and grew up around all of my Kentucky kinfolk.
I’ve always said I’m a Yankee Hillbilly.

Searching for my Freedom:
Actually, I co-wrote this song back when I was in high school with Daniel Hogan who is no longer with us.
Years later I played it in the clubs.
I finally decided to record it in 2021.
Here’s to you Danny!
