Tinesha Keith has enough vibrant energy to fuel a fleet of motor vehicles. It's an energy that burns full-throttle, ignited by the heat of her love for the entertainment field, especially music and writingand the power and passion she puts into every opportunity to engage whatever “audience” she may have.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tinesha settled back into her hometown in the 6th grade after living oversees in Germany and in Kansas and Colorado. Here, she decided to act on her passion for music by bribing her music teacher, Ms. Hanson to teach her the piano in exchange for joining the school choir. It began a long love affair with music and performing that continued when she went to the Philadelphia High School for Girls and played the cello and piano in the school’s as well as the city’s renowned All-City Orchestra.
Tinesha graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Journalism and promptly joined the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists, the Philadelphia chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists, concerned about the lack of black journalists in the media and the dearth of coverage of the black community.
Now, fresh from the American Black Film Festival and Coachella 2011, Tinesha is geared up to be one of the hosts of the cutting edge show music show, 24 tracks! Tinesha enters the television spotlight with poise and a genuine interest in entertainment, excited to combine two of her greatest interests, Journalism and Music, and help make dreams come true for hopeful musicians! She also is continuing to explore her creative talents by writing her first screenplay, a sci-fi/horror film and writing and composing music for her soon-to-be-created band.
