Experience: started playing at age 9 and reading music by age 10 / classically & Jazz trained at age 15 (don’t play classical/jazz anymore) / age 12 started playing local school dances and at 14 the local club-bar scene. High school summer sophomore year was spent in Tucson, AZ - University of Arizona studying and playing music via a music program where I placed 1st in the state. Summer junior year was spent in Tempe, AZ via the same music program. It was here I spent considerable time playing and touring. This is where I became fond of being a steady fill in / sit in musician. It was here I was given the nickname Lil Santana (this was a first since I never really followed his career). My musical experience covers a vast range. I’ve played in variety, rock, classic, 80’s, funk, groove, R&B, latin, pop, acoustic and solo bands. Music venues and territories also cover a huge range: clubs, weddings, anniversaries, parties, cruise ships, Casinos in Las Vegas - Texas & New Mexico, Theaters, many more. I’ve played / toured many states in the USA, Philippines, Thailand, Mexico, Jamaica, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Iraq, Ports of various Caribbean / Yucatan territories plus numerous joint musical ventures. I take pride in my ability to step in and fit in immediately.
