Influences

My dad is my first inspiration. I’m a Chicago kid who has heard all of the greats play when they where young. My dad played for a community choir called creation, Paul Turner. And they use to go crazy! Having bass players like tony Russell. My dad taught me a lot and how to keep a tight funky pocket.
Another favorite of mine is Calvin Rodgers. He doesn’t everything that is asked and better. To me he is one of the greatest to ever do it, right along with denis chambers.
