I'm Ty. How are ya? I have spent 25 years as a musician. I'm 40 years old with 20 years of stage experience. I'm not egotistic and always possess a healthy amount of self-deprecating humor. I miss the fellowship of a gathering where people are commonly connected through music. I've spent some time in recent years off of the local traveling circuit of musicians and as a result I've been struggling to find a source of contentment beyond what I've found in myself. It's therapeutic in every way, to develop relationships in a working band, contrary to a lot of peoples idea that things are only ever gonna be difficult, and increase in such from having to rely on people you likely met while skipping school to get stoned. I admit I might have took time to develop reliable character traits but the stress of getting band business done day to day definitely builds up character, patience and endurance over time, naturally.The way grandma would approve of.. so Im seeking to reestablish that source of wellness in my life.
I compose perform and record entire songs and what I am inclined to lean more on with my songs lately have been songs containing lyrically descriptive subject matter. Common elements are the apparent value that I place on personal freedoms, both my own and that of the people I have common interactions with. And the overall experience of life as it pertains to the existence of most common people who have been given a raw deal at some point and have likely made some mistakes, who probably have a chip on their shoulder and even harbor a bit of regret but ultimately decide that it's not worth holding onto anger or giving up all hope over. I, then adapt the flow of the syllabic break down to set within the groove of the melodic/rhythmic form of the previously written music. Ultimately I want to collaborate again though, so I will rework my approach to any formula I currently have for creating music if it accommodates people who are willing to work for something we can appreciate and find meaning in. I share knowledge gladly and welcome it from others, just the same. Lastly, if you still hang onto a few demons from some past trauma but only for the sake of invoking them as fuel for the creative fire, we'll be able to claim the inner peace that is only produced when those demons are allowed to be exercised. Your issues will always be safe within the band.

Earliest musical influences were thrash metal bands and punk rock bands like Ramones, Black Flag Operation Ivy, The Clash, Suicide Machines, Sublime, Social Distortion and Rancid. Also in no particular order of artist or genre, and including a few inspirational things I've come to find are drummers that play loud and fast, the Constitution, Blaze Foley, Leftover Crack, Minor Threat, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, old relationships that took a turn for the worst, Psychobilly Rock, Reggae, Rocksteady and Ska, Skateboarding, Skydiving, Mystics, The Qabala, relationships that turned for the better, Cold Beer, Rudimentary Peni, Gibson Les Paul's, The Beatles, Gretsch guitars, Tom Petty, battles I've won and those that I lost

EQUIPMENT

At the moment, I have, an electric-acoustic Fender cutaway, some Sure mics, a laptop and interface with Cakewalk and Reaper as an available DAW but I will add any gear that may become necessary as the need arises. I'm hoping someone will just come through and present me with the need to own more equipment. .
