Tom is a Bass Player

Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Bass, Vocalist - Baritone, Vocalist - Tenor, Vocalist - Soprano, Bass Guitar, Drums, Vocalist - Alto.

Does this scenario interest you?
No guitar (baritone OK), Bass(es), drums...female vocals...moody hypno-groove to heavy rock blast. Think Morphine, Mazzy Star and Motorhead. Also PJ Harvey.
First seeking singer to write with. I do music, you do words and melodies. Do you also do music? That's a bonus, collaboration is awesome. If you play an instrument that's a mega bonus (as long as it's bassy...seriously, no guitar). If you can do that while singing I applaud you..
Next comes another string player and drums. Then recording etc.
Hopefully you have a regular job and are serious about your time commitment etc as I certainly am.
A sense of humor is also necessary.
I have nothing against guitar players, it's just not the aesthetic I'm going for.

Eric Avery, Ron Asheton, all the bass players who ever played with The Damned but especially Algy Ward and Paul Gray, Gedward Van Lee from Rush, the dude from Verve, Lemmy, JPJ, the guy from the Beetles.
I'm mostly a picker but can fumble about with fingers when required. Slapping is for salami.

MusicMan Stingray (what a beast, I love it), Fender Bass VI (so much fun and versatility), an old Carvin LB40 from the 80s (my #1). Amplification currently negligible but can be easily rectified.
