ABOUT

Love love love soul, funk, R&B, blues, jazz, Latin, Reggae…..
About me:
Tom Mazzuca started playing sax at age ten. Born and raised in Washington state, his father & uncle (father's twin brother) both played sax.
Tom has been playing professionally for over 40 years. He has recorded, composed & performed with many Northwest artists over the years. 3 time Nominee, 2 time winner; “Best of the Blues” (Sax) Washington State Blues Society.

In 1993 & 1995 Tom was voted "Best In Blues" in the brass/reeds category by the Washington State Blues Society.
He went back to college to study Music Theory & Jazz in 2003-2004, and again in 2006-2007.

He has shared the stage with many bands/musicians; here are a few: The Skatalites, Sam Andrews (Big Brother & the Holding Co.),
Little Bill, Junkyard Jane, Smiling Jack, Tim Turner, Tim Hall, Engine 54, Loose Gravel, Bump Kitchen, Steve Stefanowicz, Kim Archer, Highway 99, Sister Monk,
Johnny & The Marks, & many many more.

Tom brings more than just his saxes to a gig/session;
he comes with plenty of energy & love for music that quickly becomes contagious to the others in the band as well as the audience
