I am currently searching for a band to join. I was previously very fortunate to have found Straight Up Band (Buffalo), but for reasons beyond my control the band folded.

Influences

I mostly follow my muse when it comes to guitar. I could list a lot of names and bands here, but it’s safe to say that I’ve paid attention to many of my favorite "rock" players and bands of my day... and more.

Please listen to some of my recordings. This collection is an example of songs I played in previous bands (except the instrumental stuff) which I added here just for fun. Songs are listed in the following order:

2019 with JB & The Center Street Band (Lackawanna, NY)*
2016 with an upstart covers band (Fredonia, NY)
2000 with Velvet Devil, an original band (Buffalo, NY)
Mid-'90's with a covers band (Niagara Falls, NY)
Fun instrumentals including some some bits and pieces

*Please note that In the recordings with JB & The Center Street Band, my guitar is panned to the right side (the higher gain guitar). Our other guitarist can be heard panned to the left side (the lower gain guitar). In the other audio recordings, I was the only guitarist.

There were other projects and activity throughout the years and on the side. I'll continue to add more recordings as I find them and I’ll also fold in more odd stuff just for fun.

I'd be happy to discuss my musical preferences with you in more detail.

With Straight Up Band (Buffalo, 8/22 - 3/23) I had found 4 incredible bandmates who were on a similar path, had similar interests, preferences and styles and wanted to reach for excellence, not perfection. It’s too bad it didn’t last. That’s still what I’m looking for in my next project.
