Hey everyone, I'm a guitarist that mostly plays prog metal. I have a pretty thorough understanding of theory and pick things up quickly. Not looking to tour or try and score a record deal but would definitely be interested in filling a part-time or back-up spot to play some gigs or get a project started. I'm always up for learning new things and playing with new people.

Influences
I've played with a few metal bands of varying sub-genres. I listen to anything from acoustic stuff, metal, folk, classical, classic rock, blues, bluegrass, etc. Favorite artists are Within The Ruins, Protest the Hero, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Rings of Saturn, Animals As Leaders, Between the Buried and Me, The Punch Brothers, Buddy Guy, Pagannini, Igor Stravinski, Beneath The Massacre, Veil of Maya and Horse the Band. I'm not so fond of country but I enjoy many things similar, I don't write anything off until I hear/play it.

EQUIPMENT
Acoustic, 6(standard and baritone) and 7-string electric w/ Mesa half stack and effects. Mic, cable and stand. Full home recording set-up for guitar, bass or vocals (all I have is a vocal mic so I can't really track drums).
