Influences

I am a pretty versatile player, so tons of influences in all sorts of genres. I guess my playing style is probably born from a combination of funk, electro-funk, blues and jazz fusion... Sly Stone, George Clinton & P-Funk, Herbie Hancock Headhunters, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Weather Report, Snarky Puppy, Jaga Jazzist, Vulfpeck, Cinematic Orchestra, Talking Heads...etc

I have been playing with some neo-soul/funk singers recently, but my last proper band was a kiwi fusion band - all originals. We were still trying to pin-point our sound, but played some pretty funky rock stuff all the way through to dub and breaks. I've also played in various other jazz/funk/soul bands before, and also a more classic, eclectic covers band back in London (Aerosmith/Steely Dan/Led Zep/Talking Heads/Credence).

I'd love to find a band where I can rock out my rhodes/hammond, either playing classic soul or rock, or something more modern with some dirty synth leads and basslines thrown in on top... some tight brass would be ideal too.
