I'm an experienced and committed bass player with backing vocals. Very experienced, with over 20 years' stage experience. I have dependable gear, dependable transportation, and I show up for practices and gigs well-rehearsed and ready to play.
I'm looking for working band that plays out 1-2 times per month. More for the right situation. Cover/tribute bands are ideal but I would also consider originals. Available to practice weekly.
For the last 10+ years I've been involved in a local cover band which recently folded but had gigged 1-2 times a month. I'm also currently in a tribute band that gigs 3-4 times per year. My background is rooted in 70's & 80's rock (yes, including hair bands), but my interests are diverse. 80's new wave, southern rock, etc. There's really a LOT I like and get motivated to play. Not at all into HEAVY heavy metal (thrash, doom, sludge), punk or prog.
I'm comfortable with both pick and fingerstyle playing. I do not slap.

See above. Plus a whole lot more than I have room to list here. In a nutshell, though: 80's hair bands, classic American & Brit rock, southern rock, newer rock... It's a really deep well that I draw from. If it's good (even if some of it isn't good), I've been influenced by it.
