I AM A: Singer-songwriter, guitarist, instructor. 'Been playing and loving music for a long while. Plays mostly acoustic. Plays originals and covers in contemporary folk, blues, R&B, jazz. Plays out periodically (2-4 x/mo). also attends and hosts open mics, jams, performs at church. Selected for regional songwriter showcases and releases.

Good guitarist with strong rhythm skills, including barre and jazz voicings; and ok improv skills for folk-rock, blues, jazz-blues, and simpler jazz tunes. Good vocalist with decent range, and a keen eye for delivering the lyric. Can read and write chord charts / lead sheets. Knows music theory.

SEEKING: Skilled, mature, confident musician to jam with and possibly play out with, record with, if the compatibility is there (duo or trio). Must be very strong at improv / leads; Able to play a broad range of styles (see list); Able to pickup new tunes quickly; A good musical listener; Vocals a plus; Multi-instrumentalist a plus; No drama; Must have gigging experience and good stage and audience skills - low key, no drama.

Looking to play a sound that is professional but flexible, fun, and relaxed.
