ABOUT

Hello,

I am a bass player/ guitar player at the age of 28 that wants to join an established 60s garage rock/punk band. I'm currently in a rock/progish/alternative band called, "Stealing the Sun" located in the east bay. I practice once a week with them and love playing in the band, but want to try something different. (I still want to be in my current band). I'm willing to play any genre that is as close to this as possible. I'm also willing to learn the songs already written by you and covers. I have been playing bass for about 9 years, guitar for about 13 years but prefer bass overall.

Some examples of the kind of style I'm looking for are bands like The Sonic's, Cramps, Stones, Shannon and the Clams, The Zombies, The Animals, Bikini Kill, Baby Shakes, Stooges, Guitar Wolf, Buzzcocks, The Fade Aways, Misfits, The Mummies, The Sloths, The Alarm Clocks and much much more...

Link to my current bands be channel is: s://m./user/Stealingthesunmusic

Also my band has //Spotify and all the other crap.

"Take a listen to our cover of "Would?" by Alice In Chains. Shows me playing."

My schedule: I work Monday-Friday from 7:00am- at the latest 5:30. Saturday/Sunday I'm off.

Send me an email if you feel I'll be a good fit!

Thanks

Influences

I grew up with classic rock, Oldies, soul & R&B. I then grew into heavier rock and punk as I got more curious with other genres on and on. I like a little bit of everything. So it's hard to just give a whole long list of bands.

EQUIPMENT

bunch of electric and acoustic guitars. And 3 bass guitars. For my bass rig I have a Carvin B2000 4 10" cab. Sounds great.
