Highly experienced frontman with acoustic guitar looking to start southern/soul cover band. Rather than playing blues-based music all night, I want to play soulful music that will appeal to a wide audience. Some of the artists I'm thinking of are Same Cooke, Joe Cocker, Sheryl Crow, Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, and Rob Thomas. I'm looking to create a highly professional band that plays out once or twice a month for some extra cash, fun times, and occasional charity gigs.
