ABOUT

I played as a kid, not real well, but could keep time and play a groove. I played in some trios, sat in, etc. Then life got in the way, wife, son, and a vintage set of Gretsch round badge white pearl drums were packed away. Years later, son is grown, I am at a job and management shake up made it very frustrating for me, so I needed something creative back in my life and broke the kit out. About a year later, I was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer and decided to get serious. I also put together a band for a fund raiser I did for cancer research. While there is no cure for the cancer, only treatment, I am healthy and cancer free. The band I got together for the fund raiser sort of fell apart, one moved out of state, another is a school teacher, etc. I am now with 2 really good sax players, and looking to fill out our band.
