I like pop, rock, alternative, punk, reggae and more. I am interested in finding like-minded musicians who are interested in forming a band. Covers are OK, originals are better. Ideally, I'd like to develop original material and surround it with related covers that help to bring an audience in and understand what music informs the original material.

I like the Beatles, David Bowie, the Jam, Elvis Costello, XTC, Steely Dan - and much, much more. I'd love to work with players who have original material and who want to collaborate. I have original ideas and demos. I am very good at listing to raw drafts and offering my own ideas.

I like the studio process. I like developing songs.I have DAW skills and a pretty decent basement rehearsal space/studio.

I am not looking to gig relentlessly. I enjoy playing Fridays and Saturdays at the Tap Room downtown for audiences who are seeing new, interesting, original music. I would prefer to find small, intimate venues that cater to original music and try to develop a crowd organically rather than put together a $$ band that plays nothing but the most popular covers. That said, I love playing cool covers too, so as long as the vibe is good and the music is interesting, I am in.
