I have always been a musician. There is no telling how many gigs I've played over the past 50 years. Started playing professionally at age 15. The last 20 years I have been busy being a chiropractor but I am anxious to get back into some leisurely, relaxed, enjoyable playing. I don't really care if I get out and play in front of crowds - that would be fine but isn't my primary focus. Mainly I just want to play. I don't want to 'rule the world' - just want to hang with mellow players who enjoy banging around on blues, standards and jazz tunes.

Influences
I can say this - if you cannot learn something from everybody you hear, you aren't listening closely enough. Even if it is what not to play! I have always dug the Crusaders, Steely Dan, ZZ Top, Stones, grew up on the Beatles, Little Feat, etc. Guys I particularly dig: Wilton Felder, Dusty Hill, Bill Wyman, on and on.
