Trumpet player, writer, and arranger with 35 years of experience playing live and in studios. I play jazz, funk, worldbeat, etc. I have experience in making beats, loops, and sound design, I am looking for creative, talented professionals to collaborate with. I have my own band, Voodoo Fuel, that mixes elements of funk, jazz and worldbeat with EDM. We are in an area that is not conducive to playing live jazz or funk. We are slowly gaining ground and getting airplay. You can check out our studio or live work on most social media platforms; you will see that I am not B.S.ing- I am a professional all the way. I arranged the studio recordings, built the loops, engineered, produced and mastered the CD that will drop in early 2017.
I would like a few more outlets and options for playing, live or in the studio both personally and with my band. Our goal is to hit the live circuit hard. I would also like to have an extra person in the mix- preferably a percussionist to play with the band. Candidate must possess chops and equipment. Don’t come half-steppin’. Looking for Cajon skills for unplugged shows and a complete set up for larger shows and festivals. Plenty of room to stretch out and solo but must know how to lay in the cut.

If you can sing well- we can work that in too. As far as my collaborations outside of Voodoo Fuel, it’s gotta groove. No calls to play jazz standards or old school jazz; done it- not interested. Not interested in giving private lessons.
