I'm into being an audiophile, composing original material and musical experimentation, e.g., the Beatles. I'm not opposed to being in a band if I'm a good fit or if I find the right people to start a band.
Ideally, I'd like to collaborate with musicians who will add their own interpretation to original songs, rather than receiving direction about what to play. and if there's disagreement about an idea -- cool, no problem. let's do multiple versions of the song and see where the different ideas lead us. In terms of bass players, I like Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, etc. Drummers: the late great Neil Peart and Jon Bonham, Stewart Copeland (The Police)... I like drummers who think of themselves as percussionists, rather than "just" drummers. It would also be cool to meet up with some people who have gigging experience, since I've been a solo musician, so far, and have none.
I've included some mostly raw original song examples from my multi-track, to give a sense of me. all of it... lyrics, vocals, guitars, synths... is me. I need some help, dammit! one bit of commentary: U Bettah Krawl was an intentional before and after experiment -- the first track clean, structured and sober; the second track an unstructured overdub after the lightweight has had two beers... so sad what a few beers will do to some people,

lately I've been playing a Fender Jag and a Gibson ES 330 the most. But I also play a Hag Swede and G&L S-500 fairly often too.
