SEEKING
Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, DJ.ABOUT
I'm just a laid back guy looking for people to jam with and hopefully start a band eventually. I've only played guitar for about a year so I'm not going to BS you and pretend I'm great. I do practice a lot though, around 30-40 hours a week.
I like Numetal (yeah I know, not the most popular genre..), so if I did ever meet the right people to start a band with, I'm looking for a bass guitarist who has their own style. I don't like the way bass guitarists are used for just "rhythm" and get lost in the mix in modern-day music. The bass guitar should stick out just as much as lead and drums. I'm looking for a drummer who has a fun style, maybe a jazzy-hiphop kind of sound. For vocals just someone who can sing or rap/sing. A DJ would be nice too. I'm basically looking to recreate Limp Bizkit's sound, in our own form. A melodic, yet heavy kind of jump up and down sound. If you don't like LB that's fine, I've just always loved blending rock, metal and hiphop together.
I doubt I'll find anyone that matches this description or wants to play with a guitarist who only has a year of experience, but it's worth a try. I'll play pretty much anything from the 60s to 00s.
