SEEKINGBand to Join, Bass Guitar.
I love the bass. I fool with other instruments, but I can't leave the bass guitar. I've been playing for a while now. I started in Chicago cutting my teeth at Rosa's on the west side. Of course, being a middle-class kid from the 'burbs, I got with some buddies and played some good rock and roll, the went into pop-punk stuff for a while. I moved to HI in the mid-90's and got a gig w/a country rock band. Pretty fun, I scored a reggae gig there on a sand bar. My favorite memory (tastes like rum). Then it was off to NY where I hooked up with my bro, Jethro Payson, from Illinois Payson. We did pretty good. gigged every week for a few years.
Off S. UT in 2004 saving animals and playing bass on the side. there are only a small number of us bottom enders here so I get to play a lot more than I thought. I've become so much more fluid that I'm looking at trying to get a traveling gig for the summer.
I'll upload a few tunes from some of the stuff I recorded with these groups.
UPDATE: Southern Utah came to a crashing halt! I'm back in NY! Long Island actually. I got a job in the Hamptons. The only gig I found so far is open mic nite at Quoguee's Pub in East Quogue.
UPDATE: Long Island was a bust. Lost the job. Now in Philly. I actually am living in S. Jersey. But I work and play in Philly. Trying to get something together with singer/songwriter Brant Buckley.
Playing around the Philly area still. Many gigs, many musicians. Still at it and enjoying.

Stateline Track number: 1 Year: 2000 Album: Los Secularados Genre: Punk
The Seculars were a great garage punk band I played with in NY in the late 90's - early 2000's. Last band before I got married. Great time and the most prolific gigging band I was in.
Amy Year: 2010 Genre: Alternative
The Suicide Kings was another band I played with in Souther Utah. This is a decent song and I was looking forward to making more music with these cats. Unfortunately, I had to leave town. Oh, well.
Statues Album: Theory on Blondes Genre: Alternative
I believe this is a Husker Du cover. Theory on Blondes was a pop-punk band I played with in Chicago in the early 90's.
Penny on The Track
Penny on The Track Year: 2011 Genre: Alternative
The song was written by a friend Michael Evangalista. We played in a band called the Katch. Fun band, stayed mostly in the garage.
Lonely Like Me
Lonely Like Me Year: 2014 Album: Untitled Genre: Acoustic

Love Is The Reason
Love Is The Reason Year: 2010 Album: The Katch Genre: Classic Rock
This was a recording of a song written by Rich Nielson. This guy also played keys in another uploaded song Penny On Track. The band was The Katch out of Kanab, UT
I Shot the Sheriff
I Shot the Sheriff Year: 2009 Album: Live at the Buckskin Genre: Reggae
Snaggle Tooth was a fun bar band that I played with in Southern Utah. This version of Bob Marley's "I shot the sheriff" was actually a version of Clapton's version. In a different key, I think.
