I have been musical all my life and have been drawn to it thanks to my Dad who played the base and I use to pretend to play next to him on a tennis racket. We had wall to wall records and my hobby as a kid was to play his music and read and sing the lyrics. I grew up loving Michael Jackson and Madonna. As I got to middle school, I became a huge fan of “hair bands” like Aerosmith, Gun’s & Roses, Metallica, and many others. When I was 13, I asked for a giant sound system for my room and my Dad, owning an audio store, gave me the best gift ever, two large speakers and my first sound system. My hobby was to sit in my room, blast my music and dream of being a rock star. MTV was also a passion and as another hobby, I would use my partners video camera to make music videos with my friends. Music was and still is everything to me!
Since that time I have taken on instruments such as the piano, key board, flute, drums, cajon, and ukulele and guitar. The family I have created with my husband is a saturated in music as well. We have a music room and they are always welcome to grab an instrument and learn. My husband is currently a professional musician and when I can perform with him, I do.
Now that I am getting more free time as my kids are getting older, I would love to find some music buddies to play with! Hit me up if you like what you hear!
